What does the TomTom extended warranty cover?

I just bought a TomTom XL 340S from RadioShack and was given the option to buy a 2 year extended warranty. I usually buy warranties if I know they cover normal wear and tear of the product. If it just covers hardware failures/defects then I usually don't buy it.

I searched their website but I could only find what their limited warranty covers.

Does anyone have an extended warranty for their TomTom that could help me out?

I wouldn't bite. The TomTom is a good piece of equipment as long as you don't cook it in a hot car next summer or play softball with it. The Manufacturer's warranty is enough.
