If you need a guarantee one year extended 1 or 7, it is usually best to buy early to get the lowest rate, and if you buy a collateral, then it may overlap with the manufacturer's warranty (instead of beginning where the other ends), so be sure to ask about that!
Is it worth to get the extended warranty for televisions?
Hello, I wondered whether it was worthwhile to actually get the extended warranty offers Best Buy for televisions. I take to obtain a guarantee of a computer laptop that can take it with you and not many different parties, but within a TV is not so sure. If you buy a good quality TV (in my case LG) where really cares that break in less than 3 years? Just out of curiosity as much $ 300 is to pay a security. Thank you. DAN
If you invest in a TV too, too expensive then I would get a guarantee. But security is expensive. Where the security is such a large percentage of TV is it really worth it? I worked at Best Buy and seen the pros and cons. If things go wrong may be able to fix it. Ever heard of the lemon policy? If it breaks 3 times, that's when you get a new one. Some people think they have a brand new TV if something goes wrong. That is not the case for 95% of the time. The warranty does not cover everything. What if it does not break the TV and lost the money? Or what if the TV breaks and your warranty does not cover the problem. Depends on you. I just want to invest in a TV that was very expensive. Then perhaps it would be worthwhile. But it's really up to you.
