Nissan to test your program in Japan using Mobile
The Nissan Motors Co., Ltd. advances its Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) in Japan to improve pedestrian safety and also lessen traffic accidents. The innovative vehicle infrastructure technology integrated into the system allows synchronized communication between vehicles and traffic light signals.
Nissan earlier announced it is moving in the next phase of R & D on car systems. Its the automaker's research effort into the relationship with their environment focused Green Program 2010 "and its services CARWINGS telematics. Apart from the reduction of accidents and relieving traffic congestion, Nissan's new advanced traffic system is also designed to improve on-road fuel consumption. Since October 2006, the automaker has carried out various experiments under its his project in Kanagawa.
The Japanese manufacturer is also investing in the installation of an advanced infrastructure of traffic signals at the site of the Nissan Technical Center in the prefecture Kanagawa * 1. This was done to collect data from real-world vehicle several hundred employees of the cars involved in the project.

Nissan advanced ITS research consists of the various processes. First, through the cellular packet communications, the system wirelessly collects probe data from the vehicle and position data of pedestrians. The data collected is then calculated to determine the corresponding location of the vehicle relative to pedestrians on the road.
Then, the ITS detects pedestrians at the forefront of the vehicle and sends a warning to alert the driver in the event of a conflict likely. The automotive research to deepen in a variety of factors influencing the pedestrian-vehicle's relative positions. These factors include the directions in which pedestrians and the vehicle in motion, and corresponding speeds and distances between them. Visual warnings, audible alarms and other alarms are also being studied at present.
Nissan is developing innovative ITS technology in collaboration with NTT DoCoMo Inc., which is a well known leader in the field of communications technology phones. The project allows the automaker to test ITS concepts of different technologies and formulate the most suitable technology solution for large-scale application.
The next 3G cellular communications system features digital cellular phones that meet MT International Union Telecommunications-2000 specification. Therefore, allow high-speed transfers of data and high-volume delivery of multiple media, including sound, images and video.
