Extended Warranty For Used Cars

Just bought a used car, has needed repairs since purchase and warranty almost up.. what can i do?

Have only had the vehicle for approx 9 days, the remaining time has been with dealer who is trying to "source" parts. When i get it back, my warranty will be over. Am i entitled to any compensation, or extended warranty from the dealer? How do i know if i have bought a lemon? Also, have been without a car since I purchased it, and am paying my repayments for a vehicle that I don't have as it's continually needing fixing. Live in Victoria, Australia.
