I want to buy a Used 2006 Saab 9-3 - where do I take for repairs?

I Need a car, and I always liked Saabs. I am choosing between a Saab 9-3 and Audi A4. However, the Saab will cost up to $ 10K LESS than an Audi. I am concerned w / where to take me for any repairs (mechanical or body) and maintenance services, etc. .. The car I'm looking at is a 2006 9.3 W Arc / 26,000 million, U.S. $ 16.9 (but I think you can negotiate lower). Carfax I looked up and sold in CA 2 years as personal contract. And then bought an auction by a dealer Pacific Nissan. Questions? 1) Can I bring the car to a Saab repair to get it checked before buying? 2) What is recommended Saab repair in Seattle? I read the comments, but now confused. 3) Only about 6,000 unit / year my 4) If I buy an extended warranty with it? 3) Should change the Saab and Audi just bought? Help ... I need a car!

My 2 cents. Purchasing the extended warranty with any car and read the fine print of what is covered. With both cars basic car maintenance on the cars from previous years is important. How often was the oil change was the car of a maintenance regular? I like both cars. I'm a fan of Saab and I think it would be well served by Saab. I also like the Audi. I have every day and a Saab 1989 Turbo unit. A friend mine just bought an Audi A4 2007 (internal material) and when I sat in the car on the inside felt and looked like a friend of mines 1989 GTI. Very subjective but I think inside the Saab, in leather, is a better look. For the Audi I think the main mechanical cost you might incur would the timing belt. I think it is about 80k miles that need changing. To change the timing belt from the front of the vehicle (bumper, radiator) to be removed in order to make. Labor intensive. The other thing is that I believe that the escape of the Audi can get very expensive. I live on the east coast and the mold is a problem. For the Saab's turbo would an expensive repair, if the previous owner does not change the oil.The Saab does not have the dual exhaust tip and is less expensive. While the distribution chain in the Saab must be replaced, so the procedure is much less labor intensive. Okay, I think that Audi can be fun ... not as fun as the Saab, but will have to pay more for Audi's own right away (potentially lose more when driving off the lot) and then have a higher cost to maintain if your warranty does not cover these items. I can not say about the mechanics in Seattle, but has a listing saabnet.com. Saabnet.com is a good resource. I'm not sure the best site of Audi. Good luck
