The Death Of Wolf Car Covers
I regret to say that I learned recently that the Wolf line of products is no longer produced. No more Wolf Car Covers. No more Powersport Wolf products. Gone ATV Covers and Accessories.
As you may or may not know, the Wolf Automotive product lines ceased production in late March or early April, when its parent company went bankrupt Global Accessories. Global continued to take orders from our website http://AccessorizeYourVehicle.com for roofs that were in stock, but then canceled many of these orders and orders to stop accepting full.
They said they had finally Coverking reached a tentative agreement to buy World. What was not told was that the actual sale took place through the auction. When the day of the auction, Covercraft rushed and Coverking outbid. When I first spoke to people were excited by the Global purchase, because they thought the two companies and cultures lines products are complementary and Covercraft are expected to continue to market their products, thereby keeping their jobs intact.
This retrospect, Covercraft seems that not only saw a way to branch into two new product areas, covering the dash and carpets, but perhaps more importantly, a way to eliminate a major competitor for its line of car cover, which sold the same or nearly the same product for less. Sometimes much less.
Covercraft To be fair, seems to put more effort into the creation of standards used to create the Wolf car covers. When Wolf had a pattern to fit a given year, make and model of vehicle, Covercraft could have two or three models to accommodate different model configurations.
Wolf line of cars covered made exclusively use of fabrics made by Kimberly Clarke. Covercraft also features covers made with the same fabrics Kimberly Clarke, plus a selection of fabrics higher-end full well with the upper end of Coverking fabrics. When he reached the head to head comparisons of products, the Wolf line of car covers appeared to be more popular than the equivalent Covercraft.
Although Covercraft markets its products based on product quality and not price, in our experience, the message is having an impact on the final consumer. First, both Wolf and Covercraft boasted that their factories comply with ISO quality standards. And they were both with the same tissue. And to one up Covercraft, Wolf extended the guarantee provided by the web of Kimberly Clarke Noah, age 4 to 5 years.
I personally thank the fact that Coverking products are still made here in the good ol 'USA. Global Accessories Wolf had moved, and the First Floor Mat DashMat lines Ohio to the south of the border. I still have trouble buying the argument that we are exporting our best jobs to Mexico and China, while maintaining our borders open to free market and trying to compete with products manufactured by a foreign government enterprises declined. But that is the subject of another article.
A Wolf car cover made with the same tissue was used Covercraft Noah's usually a price 15% - 20% below the Covercraft car cover. Thus, from the point of view consumer is the same fabric, a better warranty and $ 30 cheaper. It was an easy choice to make. Wolf even subsidize the shipping costs by charging processing fees of $ 5.00.
But, you say, Wolf went out of business! So maybe the prices out of profitability. Well, sure, Acessórios World was affected by the economic credit crisis. Whether their failure was the result of a specific product line or profitability of each product line, do not know. Be the tonneau business was suffering due to the almost still in truck sales. Covercraft had left the market last year and did not recover tonneau Lebra tonneau World Downey or lines.
So back to the subject matter. I'm disappointed that Covercraft is killing Wolf product lines. Eight years ago, before I was in the car after market accessory business, I bought a Wolf evolution coverage of my '99 Mustang Cobra. I'm still using. When my cover pulled around the antenna because I did not install the patch properly reinforced, Wolf sent me a piece of fabric evolution to to cover my mistake.
Wolf (Global Accessories) has been good to me as a consumer and as an internet marketer. I will miss.
Auto Extended Warranty Comparison Help please !!!!?
I need to know if the plan AUL Estate Corporation is comparable or better than Fidelity Warranty Service Plan Gold or Gold Plus Plan as to what it covers. I already have a warranty. The dealer gave us the plan originally from Fidelity Gold. However, later changed to Real AUL plan. Just need to know if one is better than the other. Thank you.
Save your money for when you need to fix the car. If you go through the right steps and are licensed independent mechanic inspect any used vehicle has intention to buy, no need an extended warranty. omitted. Most are scams .... especially if you're buying new.
