Can I get a refund for an extended warranty I bought for my car?
I buy a new Toyota Corolla 2008 in a Toyota dealer. He offered me what I thought was very much on an extended warranty from Fidelity Warranty Services Inc. When I got home, I found this company on the Internet and discovered that BBB has a grade of F. I just bought the car 3 days and the contract states I can cancel the policy 100% refund if I do it within 60 days. I live in North Carolina. Is this true? You think I'm going to have a problem with the nullification of this guarantee? Thank you,
I'm not sure about this particular company, but got a refund when I sold the car early (before warranty ran out), so I hope you're okay ... especially if you have it in writing. Take your contract back to the dealer and tell them you've changed opinion. Because there will be some paperwork for them to do to cancel (and not like), they likely you try to talk about it. Also, if your contract says nothing about a $ penalty if you cancel early.
