What do you think about SmartCars?

I've been thinking about getting one. I do not know how often they break, its reliability, the costs associated with fixing it in relation other cars. The warranty is good for 2 years or 24,000 miles, which seems low. Buyer Beware tells me that is prone to a lot of problems for the guarantee as low. Does anyone have one? How do you feel about them?

This can get good mileage, but only takes two and cost a fortune. There are many cars out there that get as good or near mileage, lower cost and carry four comfortably. The Smart does not sound very intelligent to me.
