Should I get a certified used car?

Looking at a 2006 with 35k miles Buick used car from a dealer - I pay for the car to be certified by the dealer to charge about $ 400. The car has original factory warranty still remaining in the same (5 years or 50,000 miles) as to be covered for 15 miles or basically a year. Does certified car really mean anything?

Buick actually has a year 4, 50K miles warranty, which is of the DSI . Whether to obtain certification make sure it's a manufacturer's certification. This will extend the bumper to bumper coverage is good at any Buick dealer and give you a lower interest rate if they decide to use GMAC. This vehicle would be purchased at a Buick dealership. If only one certification basic representation, then you will have the benefits and probably not worth the money.
