A point of buying a used car, how to extend the warranty?

It's A 2006 Ford and the warranty is about to expire. I would like a guarantee power tran. I'm not concerned with a bumper to bumper, things just operational, as the internal combustion engine, tranny fall out or such. Does the dealer is the best option? I'm buying from CarMax.

Okay, i bout a used truck with 75,000 Extended / 72 months warranty. bout the car when it was a year old. Apparently, they say that the calculation the month and mileage by vehicle age, and not when I bought it. My papers say that my warranty expires on 9 December 2009. Now, suddenly, the concessionaire says my warranty expired on 9 December 2008, and that goes for the old vehicles and not the length of my property. My question is: My Documents from the place where I bought the order that states that have full bumber to bumper warranty until 6 December 2009. But now they say there team says expired on 6 December 2008. Does can sue? I have all my documents it says that expires in December 2009. OK / I have a sample papers WARANTEE until 12/2009. I have a problem andd not want to honor the warranty. Do I have a case or not? EZ 10 points!

There is no reason to sue now. If they do not honor their warranty, then you might have a case. Until then, talk to them and produce documentation that says 12/6/2009. They should honor it.
