Car Extended Warranty settlement to try to get to fix my car?

Okay so I have a car brought from a car dealership that I purchased about 5 months in an extended warranty that is secured link. This covers me for 12 months. Recently received a blown head gasket (a mechanic said he has a chemically because it is as cheap labor have sealed). So I went to the mechanic to get it fixed and suddenly the security link has gone into liquidation a week ago. I was wondering if anyone knows where I stayed with this. The car dealer said that if I have to pay the excess (so I wonder why, if the warranty is void), then that means in the draft compensation law ... I think that since I sold a security without funds would be eligible for the joint project? Thanks if you can help me:)

well so ... in fact .... ok so ... after the extended warranty car market are more or less useless and a waste of money as just discover. The possibilities of the warranty company to pay to repair your car, even if they had not gone belly would have been almost nil anyway. You would well to ask the dealer to pay for complete repair. If not, negotiate the best deal you can with them. It will take you anywhere trying to get the company false warranty to pay. for good ....
