CPO 2008 Chevy Cobalt. What is a fair price to offer?
It is an '08 Chevy Cobalt LT 2dr (Auto) with about 25-30K miles. I'm using a residual value estimated at around 50% (or $ 8,500) for the calculation of my offer. If this appears, remember that this is a Chevy and when it comes to waste, I make the rules ... Now, considering the fact that it is a CPO with a program of guarantee of good, I would offer about $ 9,350 more tax and title which puts me in some 10,200 dollars - paid by check. The TMV is what people are paying for cars and what you can expect to pay (about 1k below blue book). You can get a little more, but I think do better too. The fact that a Chevy is already taken into account in the price. What you are considering as your bid is slightly higher than the trade in value. You can try it. Some dealers are desperate and can take their offer just to get off the lot. They will kick you out. You may laugh at you, but what hurts try? I would have paid about True Market Value (what we all pay). BTW: If you have a very low opinion of a chevy, why buy one anyway?

Recently, IntelliChoice.com offered a helping hand to those who are planning to buy a used vehicle. The site recently announced the winners of its annual ranking of Certified session property of the various vehicle programs. Among the programs considered by Intellichoice.com for the rankings, Swedish Volvo cars rose above their competitors. Cadillac Volvo surpassed one year after Cadillac Jaguar evicted the first since the British luxury brand has occupied for years. Volkswagen is meanwhile named as having the best pre-owned certified vehicles program for the fourth consecutive year in the third program luxury.
James Bell, director and editor of IntelliChoice.com, said the luxury segment is becoming more and more competitive.
